On our last trip to Rome, we had to stay farther out of the center because of an international rugby tournament. To get in, we had to jump on a bus and guess when and where to get on and off. It was a case of using "the force" to figure things out. Our goal the first night was to get to the Colosseum and the Arch of Constantine. Going here had been one of my traditions on the first night in Rome. My first night in Rome was back in the 70s with Pete, Bill and Laurie and we walked to these landmarks. Other nights we wanted to get near the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. It worked every night.
